10th Anniversary Celebration Includes Marker Dedication
Oct 24, 2016
It was quite a party on Saturday, October 22nd as a festive crowd helped the Lakewood History Museum celebrate 10 years at its Colonial Center location.
Among those present were Lakewood Mayor Don Anderson, Councilmember Mary Moss and City Manager John Caulfield, all of whom later attended the dedication of the Society's latest historical marker. Located under a majestic Garry oak near Great Cuisine of India restaurant, the marker commemorates the 1937 founding of the shopping/community center the Society's museum has called home since 2006: the Lakewood Colonial Center.
